Welcome to SmartCap, Givaudan’s augmented reality app for iOS and Android to find your samples.
Using the SmartCap application
Content Available in App SmartCap helps you find your samples on the fly. No matter how messy your drawer is you are able to easily find your sample, along with all the documentation, in a matter of moments.
Functionality of the App The SmartCap interface allows the functionality to locate samples. The features below give you all the capability to give you a superior experience:

Fast and accurate scanner: The scanner implemented in the SmartCap app is fast and responsive. Using augmented reality, the label is shown above the cap. By clicking, you will be brought to the Givaudan Flavor Concierge, where you will be able to access all the sample information and documentation.

Ability to scan multiple samples: SmartCap has the ability to scan multiple samples at once. This means you are able to scan groups of Givaudan samples and find exactly what you are looking for.

Search functionality: Smart cap allows you to search for specific flavors (“Strawberry”, “Mango”), keywords (“Natural”,”WONF”), or a specific sample ID (Sales ID, QR ID). If a match is found, the sample will appear green. If not, it will appear red.

Remembering previous scans: The app will remember all of your previous scans. You can click the “Scans” button at the bottom of the scanner to open up a table to view your previously scanned samples. By clicking, you will be brought to the Givaudan Flavor Concierge.
With all these functionalities, the SmartCap allows you to successfully locate the samples you need and manage your lab inventory in a simple to use interface.
