Call for interest: laboratories and offices for start-ups
On our Kemptthal site we are developing the new ‘Zurich Innovation Centre’ that will be a cornerstone of an attractive, dynamic and energetic innovation hub.
In this context we are considering to create around our campus an inspiring eco-system to foster science and innovation in the wider fields of taste, smell and beauty. To help start-up companies active in this field to succeed and to develop their business idea to commercial reality, we plan to offer – potentially in collaboration with other industrial partners – laboratories and offices.
Our offer
The possibilities could include laboratories, offices and basic innovation services for selected entrepreneurs at attractive conditions; as well as access to Givaudan’s scientific and business expertise and network related to ‘taste – novel food and beverage solutions –, smell and beauty’.

About Zürich Innovation Centre
Givaudan is investing in a new innovation centre in Kemptthal, Switzerland, a CHF 120 million investment demonstrating its commitment to provide innovative solutions to customers in the flavour and fragrance industry. The new centre for innovation, anticipated to open in 2019, will use the latest in design and collaboration technologies to stimulate creativity and interaction between diverse functions and teams in both Flavours and Fragrances, tapping into the broader community of innovators located on-site. Its innovative research areas will span from organic chemistry, naturals such as fermentation and biocatalysis, to flavour creation and application science, as well as delivery systems.

Kemptthal in Switzerland is in the middle of the fast-growing urban area between Winterthur and Zurich. It can be easily reached by car (10 minutes from Winterthur city, 15 minutes from Zurich airport; 20 minutes from Zurich city) or by train or bus (station right by premises).
